Amir Gal-Or is the founder and managing partner of the Infinity Group, a cross-border, innovation investment platform known for its strong roots in China, its vast, global network of technology and innovation, and its “China Outbound” initiative, which supports Chinese companies with an interest in international business. Infinity is backed by the China Development Bank, Clal Industries (Access Industries holds 49.9% of Clal. Access Industries is a leading industrial group with long-term holdings worldwide.) and the IDB Group.
Mr. Gal-Or has a stellar track record in identifying, leading and building growth companies and securing significant returns for fellow investors. The chairman of 14 locally owned Chinese companies and funds with cities throughout China, Mr. Gal-Or has led three IPOs, 12 M&A deals and eight alliances in the last few years.
A serial entrepreneur and high tech investor and executive, with wealth of hands-on experience in starting, financing and growing technology ventures.
Eran is the founder and former CEO of EnStorage, a developer of breakthrough utility-scale energy storage systems. Prior to founding EnStorage, Eran was a member of the startup team and former CEO of CyOptics, among of the world’s leading manufacturer of active optical components, with >$200M in annual sales. As a founder, Eran has successfully raised >$100M from leading VC funds, strategic investors (such as Siemens, Intel, Cisco, Corning, Vitesse) and government funds.Eran managed Capital Nature, an investment firm focused on early-stage renewable energy technology ventures, and served as a venture partner in Israel Seed Partners, a $250M venture capital firm.
Prior to founding CyOptics, Eran held a number of senior management positions at Intel Corporation’s Pentium Processor and Networking divisions. Eran holds B.Sc. Cum Laude in Electrical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
